A WAKE UP CALL
(Condensed Version)
What follows is a greatly abbreviated
version of a prophetic understanding given to me by the Lord at the end of
November 2004. While what is said here will be redundant to what you may
read in the largest version of this release; this edition is given for those who will grasp the
heart of what is being shared and will not need to look at the larger work.
It is not a matter of someone not having faith to see these things; it is a
simple recognition that some of us are wired differently and need to look at the
whole volume of what is being presented, and some will not need to do this. If you read this abbreviated
report and are not sure you can trust any conclusions drawn by it; then you are
invited to read the long version (if printed; over 200 pages).
In the Precious Name of Jesus
Christ; the Only Begotten Son of the Living God; this is released with much love
as the Spirit of the Lord testifies that five virgins with oil for their lamps,
and five without breaks the heart of the Lord; as He is not willing that any
should perish...
I pray that the Lord would be
gracious, and open the eyes of your heart that you would have eyes to see, and
open your ears that you would have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying... In
Jesus' name... Amen
What follows
is a progressive understanding of the revelation that the Father has been
revealing in part for years now. However since October of 2004 there has been a series of explosions in my spirit that have to do with
a revealing of veiled meanings within the books of Daniel and Revelation.
These things are being revealed in the midst of these days because time is short
and there is much at stake as we are being made ready for the second coming of
our Lord.
THE PRIMARY REASON FOR
RELEASING THIS IS TO PROCLAIM A
RETURN (OR TESHUVAH) TO THE HEADSHIP AUTHORITY OF
JESUS CHRIST IN ALL DECISIONS RELATED TO THE AFFAIRS OF MEN BEGINNING WITH THE
CLEAR AUTHORITY OF JESUS CHRIST OVER EVERY ASSEMBLY OF BELIEVERS KNOWN AS THE
"BODY OF CHRIST."
OVERCOMING WITH CHRIST
According to Revelation 17:14 there are ten horns upon the end
times satanic beast and
"These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb
will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and
those who are with Him
are called, chosen, and faithful.”
In Revelation chapters 2 & 3 the Lord addressed seven
churches; speaking unto them concerning there spiritual condition.
Numerous writers today describe the church in the U.S. as being similar to the
church in Laodicea (‘I am rich, have
become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked...)
While modern writers are correct in comparing some of the churches in
the U.S. as being 'Laodicean' as they seem to be focused only on a gospel of
prosperity; it is obviously wrong to compare
ALL U.S. churches to this model.
What I am convinced of is that
the spiritual conditions that are represented by all of seven churches that Jesus addressed are in
operation today; including the church of Philadelphia that
was commended for keeping His word and not denying His Name...
While the problems that our Lord Jesus addressed in each type
of church was different; they all had one thing in common...
They were all shown through the words of Christ that
they could have victory and overcome all that was against them
IF they
repented and
were obedient to Him.
In this present age that many recognize as the
"end times" before the second coming of Christ; what
overcoming looks like is I believe best described in Revelation 3:10...
"Because you have kept My command to
persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the
whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."
While some of the challenges of today within the church and
outside of her may be difficult for some to acknowledge and even more difficult
to overcome; I am convinced of this one thing... It is the will of our Father in
heaven that His people walk in victory over the works of satan; overcoming even
as the darkness of the end times increases around us.
As a result of this desire to see God's people overcome; I
have taken the time to write what I believe the Lord has shown me.
NOTE:
What you are about to read has been through a process that allowed
others to judge this word before it was published. While I considered this
process to be fairly rigid; even then this work should not be held up as being
without flaws and even if what I have written was heard with 100% accuracy; I do
not claim perfection nor anything close to it in how it was written. Only the original writers
of scripture should be held in such esteem.
While there
are some items that are drawn from earlier understanding, I testify that these things
are not from the books of men and that any news items noted in
this record
always followed as confirmation of what has been shown.
There are a couple of points that are drawn from a Messianic perspective; but
even these areas are more from a revelatory realm; as they have merely served as sign
posts in the midst of what God is allowing by His mercy to be seen. It
will be helpful for you
to navigate through the various links in order; as you read through this
material.
In late
November / early
December 2004 while rereading the book of Revelation I came across the place
where it is written:
"So I went to
the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take
and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as
honey in your mouth." Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand
and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it,
my stomach became bitter. And he said to me, “You must prophesy again
about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
(Rev. 10:9-11)
Stopping at
that moment I prayed about eating the
"little book",
and then
the Spirit of the Lord came. It was at this point that meanings behind the symbolism in this book
began to be revealed.
It should
be made
abundantly clear
that the Lord opening the understanding in my heart to any veiled prophetic scriptures in
Revelation has nothing to do with me (except I prayed about eating the
little book). It all has to do with the time being at hand for
the fulfillment of scripture. The Word Itself
testifies that sealed
prophecy is (for the most part) only unsealed when fulfillment takes place.
THE SEASON
When I say
that the time is at hand
for the fulfillment; don't let this statement throw you off as
I am not naming dates;
I am simply pointing out where I believe we are in God's prophetic timetable.
What I do
want to impress upon you is that we are in the
season that Jesus spoke of when he was asked by His disciples in
Matthew 24:3
"Tell us, when will these things be?
(speaking of the destruction of the second temple that
Jesus described in verse 2)
And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end
of the age? (speaking plainly of His second
coming which is also the 'end of the age')
The
season Jesus spoke of is outlined in verse
32-34 when the Lord said "Now
learn this parable from the fig tree: (Israel)
When its branch has already become tender
and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
33So you also, when you see all these
things, know that it is near—at
the doors! 34Assuredly,
I say to you, this generation will by no means pass
away till all these things take place." I
go into much greater detail concerning this in the long version of this release,
but for now understand that when Jesus said "know
that it is near" the
it He is referring to is His second coming which
coincides with a season after the
replanting and regeneration of the
fig tree: (Israel)
in the Holy Land.
As light is carefully shed on this
season; it is
critical to remember that scripture interprets scripture and that
"ALL
Scripture
is given by inspiration of God..." This being said Jesus commanded us to
"Take heed,
watch and
pray; for you do not know
when the time is."
However in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 the bible tells us we will know what
time (season) it is IF we are watching and
praying as Jesus instructed us
to do:
"But
concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should
write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so
comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then
sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And
they shall not escape.
But you,
brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons
of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep,
as others do, but let us
watch
and be sober.
So if we are WATCHING and
PRAYING... we will know what time it is
prophetically and the Day of the Lord will not overtake us as a thief in the
night.
The Seal of the Holy Spirit
In Ezekiel 43:9-10 the Lord is speaking to the
prophet and says "Now let them put their harlotry and the carcasses of their
kings far away from Me, and I will dwell in their midst forever. Son of man,
describe the temple to the house of Israel
that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and
let them measure the pattern.
The Lord is emphasizing this.
He is saying 'Show the condition of the church to the body of Christ.'
Ezekiel 9:4
"and
the LORD said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of
Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all
the abominations that are done within it."
Ezekiel 43:11
"And if they are ashamed of all that
they have done, make known to them the design of the temple and its arrangement,
its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its ordinances, all its
forms and all its laws."
God wants us to recognize the
harlotry of the institutional church for what it is so that we might 1) Sigh and
cry over all the abominations that are done within it. 2)
Be marked or sealed for protection
as Ezekiel 9:6 says
"Utterly slay old and young men,
maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is
the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. So they began with the elders who were
before the temple."
THIS IS WHY THE VISIBLE PROPHETS ARE
BEING DEALT WITH NOW. (begin with the elders)
Remember Revelation 18:4 says
"And
I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, lest you
share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues."
If we are not sighing over the
abomination done within the house of God; we WILL share in her sins! We WILL
receive of her plagues. I am convinced by the Lord that one of the reasons
the prophetic movement has fallen is brought forth in a warning from Paul to
Timothy.
"Do not lay hands on anyone hastily,
nor share in other people's sins; keep yourself pure."
Are you ashamed of all the
abominations that have been done in the midst of the congregation of the Lord?
If so then God will make known to you the design of the temple and its
arrangement.
Unsealing of Revelation in this Last Hour
As the warning of Revelation 22:18-19 brings the
Fear of the Lord to my spirit... leaving me with no desire at all to share; as I
do not want to have the curses of Revelation added to my life nor have my name
blotted out of the book of life.
I find myself in a crucible though; as I am
equally compelled to write this as I consider the warning given in Ezekiel 33:6 "But
if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the
people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them,
he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s
hand."
All I can do is cry out for grace as I am undone
in my spirit somewhere between these two extremes.
Late last summer (2004) Oral Roberts had a vision that he said
was a "wake up call" from the Lord for the body of
Christ. This being the case; it would I think be proper and in context to
place this "wake up call" in the parable of the ten
virgins that Jesus speaks of in Matthew 25. "And
at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to
meet him!’ Then
all those virgins arose and
trimmed their lamps." As Oral Roberts
continued to expound on the vision; it appears from what he shared that it is clear to him that the church is NOT
ready for the time ahead.

I believe what the Lord gave me to share is also part of this same
'wake-up call' as time is very short.
The purpose of this release is to:
1. Re-emphasize this
"wake-up
call" to the body of Christ
2. Demonstrate the lateness of the hour in which we are living
As the Lord opened the eyes of my understanding to some of the
symbolism that surrounds the last days beast in Revelation 13 & 17, I realized
that certain attributes of what I saw demonstrated to me that this end times
beast is operating in the earth even now and is becoming more and more organized
at an ever quickening pace.
This beast crosses economic, ideological, geo-political, and
religious lines. The power of this beast is ensnaring all the nations of
the world and while it certainly has within it's grasp all the major religious
groups in the world; the foundation of this goes all the way back to ancient
Shinar and the tower of Babel which represents mankind's first attempt at a one
world government.
Over the last twenty years much has been written by others regarding various 'secret
societies' in the world that has generated what many refer to as "conspiracy theories."
What
the Lord has shown me is that the details of these 'conspiracy theories' while they may be
valid in a number of instances; these details have no bearing at all on the
'wake-up call' that the Lord is now sending forth
from His throne.
Instead of looking at various organizations that are working
together towards a 'New World Order' let us instead simply acknowledge that the
Word of God itself concludes that THERE
IS A CONSPIRACY...
Psalm 2:1-3
Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain
thing?
The kings of the earth set
themselves,
And the rulers
take counsel together,
Against the LORD and
against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in
pieces
And cast away Their cords from
us.”
While there may be many reliable sources that talk about specific
organizations; the MOST RELIABLE resource we have
to determine the truth of any 'conspiracy' is the word of God.
The Word itself having acknowledged this 'conspiracy' we can
now once again look at this multifaceted beast that has formed in the earth, and
by the Lord's grace be able to see what is now transpiring.
To grasp more clearly what is approaching; it will help to
look at the time we are in from an allegorical, or symbolic frame of reference:
An
allegorical understanding of the coming of the Lord, and the season that
precedes it.

A.
We are now in the time of judges which is the last hour release of apostles
and prophets as judges sent from the Father to proclaim liberty to those who are
captive, and to warn and cry out
concerning the pending judgment on
every
endeavor
within the church that is not solidly established on the
foundation of Jesus Christ.
In Hebrews
8:2 it is said of Jesus that He is "a
Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected,
and not man." It is the church founded
on the solid Rock of Christ alone that will stand during these end times.
In the midst of the current
apostolic-prophetic release; a counterfeit or satanic release has also taken
place; seeking to provide apostolic/prophetic validation to the doctrines of
demons propagated among God's people. These 'ministries' usually will be
seen desiring to take an umbrella type 'covering' over others; which is
never
biblical. Some of these that have this initial appearance may still be
genuine apostolic / prophetic ministries; so it is important to test the spirits
and move beyond a surface assessment; as genuine A/P ministry will quickly
dispel any initial impression of being anyone's 'covering'.
B.
This 'time of judges'
that we are currently in the midst of will give way to a
'Time of Saul' manifesting in a type
of
'anti-Trinitarian'
beast
made up of the seven heads, ten horns, and ten
crowns. The judges (Men & Women) will move in a
'mighty men' anointing in their unwavering loyalty to the True 'Son
of David'... the Lord Jesus
Christ; bringing forth a framework of His government among a remnant who is also
passionately loyal to the King of Kings.
I
do not know if others are using the term 'anti-trinity';
but over the last two months as I've look at parts of Revelation; the Lord has
revealed that the
deceiver has been spreading for years the use of the term 'antichrist' as a way
of misdirecting the Truth so that his time in the earth will catch us
unaware and unprepared.
Remember Oral Roberts wake-up call from earlier, and how he
shared that the church was not ready? While I cannot say definitively
how long a singular one world leader will be
in place; the point is - when a single leader does
arise; this leader will emerge well after
the elements of the anti-trinity that would hand
that power over are already well entrenched, and ruthlessly functioning in the
world.
History bears
witness to how this process plays itself out. One needs to look no further
than the Third Reich and the rise of Adolph Hitler in WW II. The point is
Hitler did not rule by himself as there was an established framework of evil
that he stood in the midst of and from which he ruled.
THE RESTRAINER BEING REMOVED
In the longer version of this release; I have taken the time to develop the
"mystery of lawlessness"
spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 and the high
priority that scripture places on being one who will
"receive the love of the truth that they might be saved."
Scripture continues to address those who do not love the truth by saying that
"God will send them strong delusion, that they should
believe the lie..." This is what is described in these
scriptures in 2 Thessalonians as "the falling
away"
As we are in the midst of what the
apostle Paul called this "falling away"
the answer to the
question of who the restrainer is can be clearly answered when we consider that
the removal causes the lawless one to appear. Simply it is
the law of God itself being 'taken out of the way' that has caused what we see manifesting in the
natural realm now.
In the longer version there is discussion concerning the Four Hurricanes
that struck Florida last fall, there connection to Daniel
chapter 7 and to the land of Israel being divided. If you take a moment

also see a demonic manifestation in the midst of one of these storms, and
another manifestation in Hurricane Isabel from a year earlier. I
believe these are connected to the restraining laws of God being removed not only from
the land, but from the hearts of men as well.

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a
beast rising up out of the sea, having
seven heads and
ten horns,
and on his horns ten crowns,
and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2Now
the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of
a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power,
his throne, and great authority. 3And
I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly
wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
4So they
worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the
beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
5And he was
given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority
to continue for forty-two months. 6Then
he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His
tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7It
was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And
authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.
8All who dwell
on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of
Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The elements that make up the beast that satan has
planted in the world system among the fallen hearts of mankind is an
anti-Trinitarian framework that will be present
during the approaching tribulation. As you can see by the outline below;
there is a three-in-one aspect to all of this.
In short the Lord showed me the major components of the beast
that rises out of the sea in Revelation 13.
This beast has:
1. SEVEN HEADS
2. TEN HORNS
3. TEN CROWNS
We can see this
anti-trinity
taking shape...
within
this beast are:
1.
Seven heads
These are the economic heads represented
by the G-7... For more information:

What I believe to
be True (as a result of time spent seeking the Lord on what
I've heard); is that a political leader may emerge at the front of the seven
heads since Revelation 12:3
speaks of "seven diadems" that are on the seven heads of the beast.
As the number of prophetic ministries and ministers
that have seen a cataclysmic war fought on American soil is staggering;
I believe that these prophetic warnings should serve as
notice to the body of Christ
in America that the U.S. as one of the seven heads of the beast in Revelation 13 is the head that is wounded...
God loves you, and He doesn't want you to be
caught off guard concerning the dark days ahead.
Since the vast majority of churches in the United States are
registered as 501(c)3 tax exempt
corporations; we need to realize that most of the church in the U.S. is
under the direct scrutiny of a government that
could be one of the seven heads
of the satanic beast of Revelation 13.
Think for just a moment about the
reservations of many clear thinking Americans when it comes to the provisions of
the Patriot act; especially those parts that address our privacy and personal liberty. Now as you reflect upon the reservations of
many of your
countrymen (assuming you live in the U.S.) take a look at what is required of
all churches and ministries by our government under I.R.S. tax code:

(Just in case anyone is wondering; I want to make it clear
that I pray for the safety of our President, for God-breathed wisdom for him and
other government leaders, and for the U.S. military actively
serving; which until recently included my own son).
If you think I am being alarmist; just open a second browser
(so you don't lose your place here) and type into google search engine the words
"Focus on the Family tax exemption" and look at the storm brewing around James
Dobson.

Ten horns
These are the ten horns of oil represented
by the Islamic nations of O.P.E.C.
(11 total members - ten of them Islamic)
Allegorically speaking: these ten horns have been providing
their strength to the kingdom of Saul for some time and in
1973 they received
authority to rule with the beast for one prophetic hour. (see Revelation
17:12-13)

a.
False Prophet -
there is a little horn that rises out of the false
religion of Islam.
This
"little
horn"/False Prophet
is hidden within the ten horns. I believe this
false prophet is a leader operating within the world system at present.
(If you need to see

The beginning of this prophetic hour is
possibly marked
by the 1973
O.P.E.C oil embargo...
To understand how this prophetic 'hour' may
end; and also why the price of crude oil will continue to increase...

NOTE: As we are able to see the
possible beginning of the prophetic hour that the
ten horns (Islamic nations of O.P.E.C.) began to rule with the beast; it is
absolutely essential to understand that this
prophetic hour is a DIFFERENT HOUR from the hour
hidden by the Father that Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24:36
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even
the angels of heaven, but My Father only."
While the LENGTH of the Father's
hidden hour appears to be subject to the same length of
time according to the thousand year day mentioned in 2 Peter 3:8... the
exact beginning and the end of the Father's hidden hour will always be unknown
according to the words of the Lord that you've just read. Do not forget
though that in Matthew 24:32-35 in the same conversation or context Jesus stated
plainly that if we observed the fig tree (Israel), we would know the
season.
3.
Ten crowns
This is not the European Union but rather the
ten crowns that represent very old money and genealogical bloodlines within the
royal houses of Europe. (11 constitutional
monarchies - ten with crowns)

THE TEN CROWNS ARE PART OF THE
INFRA-STRUCTURE AND THE FINANCIAL FRAMEWORK BEHIND THE EUROPEAN UNION. THEY INCLUDE
THE OLD POWER BASE OF THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE THAT EXISTED FOR MOST OF THE MIDDLE
AGES, AND REMAINED PARTIALLY IN POWER IN EASTERN EUROPE UNTIL THE END OF THE
FIRST WORLD WAR. (There is a much lengthier explanation in the long version of this
release).
While it is difficult to avoid implying a conspiracy; the
historical fact that a large percentage of U.S. presidents are related to
European royalty cannot be denied.
This in itself is I believe significant when you consider that
many within governments here and abroad advocate a one world system of
government. If you doubt this; consider the comments made by Bush 41
after the first Gulf War as he a spoke of a "New World
Order" It is a matter of public record... take a moment and look
it up.
a.
The 'Son of Perdition' -
Is a picture that reflects back to Nimrod and his kingdom (see Genesis
10:8-11). It was Nimrod's kingdom that instituted the building of the tower of
Babel at Shinar.
Just as Judas Iscariot was the son of perdition that betrayed
Jesus; it has become clear that the future "son of
perdition" or lawless one will also betray the body of Christ in these
last days. In other words as this develops further; look for this son of
perdition to be from the ranks of Christendom.
He could be the next pope (as a number of Catholic prophecies
predict), he could be an elected leader (diadems)
of one of the G -7 nations, he could be the next secretary general of
the United Nations, or he could even be a monarch of Europe. There is
plenty of documentation for any one of these scenarios in the larger release.
As I shared earlier; I believe the false prophet mention in
Revelation 16, 19, & 20 is already operating in the midst of world leaders...
yes... it is possible that we are THAT CLOSE to the beginning of the tribulation.
I must caution though that I am not prophesying an immediate beginning to the
tribulation; only that the season when it
could begin is upon us.
I also believe it is possible that over the next year those who are
watching
and praying as our Lord Jesus instructed may perceive who the son of perdition
is.
We can see that the possible candidates that could fulfill the
"son of perdition" role are quite numerous,
and that speculation concerning an un-fulfilled (and
unsealed) event is unnecessary as this scenario will unfold itself soon
enough.
There is however nothing wrong with keeping a prayerful and
watchful eye on each candidate as the beast develops further...
We should also see very clearly that this
anti-trinity
has already taken shape in the world... We don't need to build a case
for this on any hidden conspiracy theories about a Masonic / Illuminati New
World Order; no matter how valid some of this information truly is.
Instead as we discussed earlier; we can look to the Word of
God which tells us that:
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers
take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed
As this discussion has taken shape; we have (through the Lord's
grace) been able to stay within the realm of publicly held documentation to see
that these "kings and rulers" have literally
been working since the rebellion and apostasy of Nimrod and the tower of
Babel to break the bonds of
the Lord from off the earth.
While there may not be enough information in this shorter
version to full demonstrate this; keep in mind that the book of Revelation is
full of symbolic references, and it is the symbolism of some of the key
components of this end times beast, that is beginning to be understood.
As this Spiritual War
has been waged over time we have come down to a last days battle
that is shaped or defined by our understanding the nature of two questions that
literally speak to the heart of all spiritual warfare.
1.
Who
IS the Head of the Church?
2. Who does the kingdoms
of this world belong to?
Satan is determined to demonstrate that his kingdom and
authority are the answer to both of these questions.
Again; proving the existence or validity of the organizations
involved in this "one world government" and their possible function are not
necessary for the WAKE UP CALL that the Holy Spirit
is declaring to His people.
What we need to understand is that the rebellion of Nimrod has
come full circle and the tentacles of the beast are even
now wrapping around the world ready to ensnare God's people.
Interestingly the headquarters of the European Union are a
copy of artistic renderings of the ancient tower of Babel.
Rebuilding Babel
"The woman was arrayed
in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls,
having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her
fornication. And on her forehead a name was written:
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
I saw the woman,
drunk with the blood of the saints
and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with
great amazement."
Revelation 17:4-6
As the picture above of the E.U. headquarters building in
Brussels Belgium indicates; the first kingdom after Noah; the Kingdom of Nimrod,
or Babel is alive and well within the world system
of today.
Remember while the Catholic church is involved... this
"mother of harlots" is much larger and older
than Roman Catholicism. As you consider the scripture
"And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints,
and of all who were
slain on the earth;" (Revelation 18:24).... It should be very clear
that this MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS could not be the Catholic church as it is not possible that Roman
Catholicism is guilty of the blood of "all who were
slain on the earth" since this form of Christianity did not exist
before the counsel of Nicea in 325 A.D.
The Catholic church may rightly be considered the
"mother" of harlotry within
Christendom, but our
tendency is to point to the maternal harlotry
while in the same breath we vindicate the denominational and non-denominational
'children' she has birthed.
I know this is a strong and some might say harsh statement to
make concerning the church, but we are approaching the return of our Lord and
the Word says in Revelation 19:7-8 -
"Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has
come, and His wife has made herself
ready.” And to her it was granted to
be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous
acts of the saints."
Remember also that these harsh statements are not directed
towards Christians, but towards the religious system that they are involved in
as I am fully convinced that this is exactly what the Lord was speaking about
when He declared in Revelation 18:4 "Come out of her,
my people, lest you
share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues."
If the bride of Christ is to be made ready in this hour; then we
will have to look in the mirror no matter how hard or even offensive that might
be for some. We need to look in the mirror and
"Examine ourselves as to whether you
(we) are in the faith. Test
yourselves."
Think about this in the natural; have you ever seen a bride
preparing for her wedding ceremony that wasn't constantly looking in the mirror
and straightening something; making sure everything is
exactly how she wants it; preparing herself to exceed every
expectation of the bridegroom? What does she do then? She makes sure no one
touches her; as she wants everything perfect for the moment of the wedding vows!
Certainly we should not resist this process of
preparation as the bride of Christ...
