Finances in the Body of Christ
We believe that because we work for the Lord
Jesus Christ, He will provide all of our needs. The Lord will finance the
gifts given to us and there is never any
pressure or manipulation
to raise
funds or offerings for
our goals and purpose.
What we ask the Lord for is faithful people
in Christ who give
cheerfully as the Lord leads. If the Lord speaks to you about giving
to this
ministry; then your obedience is encouraged, but that question is
between you and the Lord.
Whether you are led to give or not; I pray for your obedience to Jesus
Christ in the
Spirit; as scripture says that "...if you are led by
the Spirit, you are not under the law.
(Galatians 5:15) and
scripture also says "For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, these are sons of God."
So then we stand with
you rejoicing in your obedience.
The scripture says in 2 Corinthians
9:10 "Now may He who supplies seed
to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you
have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness..."
Every resource on this website is
offered at no charge... In his day Paul wrote
"For if I do this willingly, I have a reward;
but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.
What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present
the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority
in the gospel."
Too many have abused their authority in
the gospel. With all the hirelings and charlatans
who have robbed the body of Christ and devoured widow’s houses with a
false tithing message; I have
become convinced that the worst thing to happen as a result of all this is
for people to stop giving cheerfully.
Scripture says in Galatians 6
"Let him who is taught the word share in all
good things with him who teaches."
Paul in teaching about biblical giving
in 1Corinthians 9 also wrote "If we have
sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap
your material things?"
What I am really hoping you catch in
all this is that if you are bless by what has been sown spiritually
into your life from this website; then simply sow back into the effort
as I have much work in the Kingdom to accomplish and am in need of
faithful brothers and sisters who support these efforts.
Be led of the Holy Spirit, and if that
means simply placing five dollars in an envelope and mailing it to
this ministry; then this is all I'm asking. I humbly ask that
you consider that the Father has had me place this request here.
As I was writing to someone recently I
came to understand something I hadn't been able to put into words...
And that is how critically important it is that the body of Christ
become givers again while it is still day… because the night is coming
when no man can work…
As we are approaching a time of
economic chaos in these last days people in the body of Christ are being given
over to a sense of uncertainty and fear.
What I am trying to say to you
about giving then is that it has as much to do with
the giver getting over their
fear of lack, as it has to do with
this ministry being a recipient of your gift...
Paul in sharing the words of Christ
with the Ephesian elders said basically the same thing...
"And
remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said,
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’"
