The Seven Mountains
Below is a chart representing the chronological
order of what was seen by three individuals; King Nebuchadnezzar, then the
Prophet Daniel, & then by the Apostle John.
1st in
Daniel 2
by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon -
The Gold, The Silver, The Bronze, The
Iron, & The Iron - Clay Kingdom - for a
total of
eight kingdoms
as three of these kingdoms were before
Babylon.
Then the four kingdoms seen by the prophet in
Daniel 7
as he lived in
both
the Babylonian and Persian era; the
kingdoms belong to a time after
this as the scripture says in chapter 7:17
"Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings
which arise
(future tense)
out of the earth..." The verse is
talking about the four kingdoms that exist in the future;
after Daniel's time
and the time of the kingdoms he lived
in.
The point is if you don't look at
all three prophetic events
(King Nebuchadnezzar's, Daniel's and the Apostle John's); you end up counting
Persia separate... you then
are left with
five kings
after Daniel (Persia, Greece, Rome,
Euro-American, and the terrible beast)...
not four.
OR you can do what most do; which is simply to ignore the time we are presently
living in.
Another clear justification for placing Babylon -
Media - Persia under the heading of one kingdom can be seen in the fact that
Daniel lived during the reign of all: first under Nebuchadnezzar (Dan.1:1) and
Belshazzar (Dan 5:1) of Babylon; then under Darius of the Medes (Dan 9:1), and
finally under Cyrus king of Persia (Dan 10:1).
Another reason for these kingdoms (Chaldean -
malkû - dominion) being counted as one is that the
historical accounts say that Babylon & Media became
part of the Persian empire. The text
in Daniel 2:39 states that the prophet spoke to king Nebuchadnezzar saying
"after you shall arise another kingdom
(dominion)
inferior to yours..." While the kingdom
or dominion of Greece can be seen on a number of levels as being inferior to
Persia; certainly calling Persia inferior to Babylon would clearly be
incorrect. The kingdom or dominion
of Babylon - Media - Persia is essentially
the same dominion while Greece is obviously a different and
inferior dominion.
The dominion of Greece
then led to the Empire of Rome which in part ruled
"over all the earth."
The
"belly and thighs"
of Rome clearly speak of an empire of great prosperity that eventually divided
between the Eastern Orthodox and Western Catholic religious empires.
As we move forward in this chart one other
characteristic is clearly unique as all other scenarios that recount the
subsequent dominions always ignore the
Euro- American Era, and concentrate
only on a 'revived Roman Empire' as they fixate on Catholicism as the heart of
an antichrist system.
I don't mean to offend others, but again this is
all fresh revelation based on the
unsealing
of these scriptures as we move towards
fulfillment, and in this we simply cannot ignore the last 300 plus years of
history.
Then in
Revelation 17 the Apostle John is shown
that the seven mountains; the seven pinnacles or high points in the history of
civilization are those seven kingdoms. His is currently in the Roman Empire's
era (ONE IS);
as the chart matches the word... five have fallen... and the other
(Euro-American)
is yet to come.
Do you see? There is clearly an era
between
the Roman Empire that John was in, and the eighth "terrible beast."
Then after the Euro-American era
(which is now declining)
we will see as scripture says
"The beast that was, and is not, is himself
also the eighth,
and is
of the seven,
and is going to perdition."
"... Of the seven -
not only a revival
of the Roman Empire but something more vast and sinister that includes not only
the old Roman empire but also the characteristics of all seven 'mountains.'

Why go through this exercise... to prove others
wrong? absolutely not... time is too short for such foolishness.
The reason should be clear as you look at
the chart... In all the church history classes we
NEVER
talk about the evil that ancient Babel was
and the influence that it has within
EVERY
false religion including what was carried back to
Israel by the Jews and even as a result of this has crept in unawares into the
church today.
A statement that will bear repeating later...
“Mystery Babylon, the Mother of harlots,
and of all the abominations of the whole earth:”
– There is much of ancient Babylonian
practice
(that originally came from the perversion of
ancient Shinar or Babel)
that bled into Judaism as a result of the Jewish
captivity in that land. These practices bled into the Catholic Church; which in
turn bled into, and are present in many religious organizations in existence
today.
